My artwork started on my YouTube channel to help illustrate the points raised in the episodes. As my style developed, people responded to both the artwork and the commentary on life – they wanted to see more.
Each piece is hand-drawn digitally, then available as posters, greeting cards and other prints. I also hand-paint select pieces onto canvas in acrylic – these capture all the brushstrokes, texture and happy accidents that only exist in physical form making them all unique.
Most pieces feature a purple character who often represents my perspective on life – though sometimes it is just something I think is funny.
I am intrigued by detail but the apparent simplicity can be deceiving. Smaller details and character motivation are often more apparent after repeated viewing
